I’d like to add that if you have a smaller table or want to dress it up for either the formal or informal setting, you can always look up some napkin folds that would allow you to place the napkin on the plates or in the water goblet. Some of the folds are very easy and looks fancy. Also, if you’re serving soup, you place the bowl on top of the plates.
Just some extra tips from an ex-stewardess.
